And Then think about where you want to be tomorrow. Some pretty powerful words I’d say. Where you are today is the result of many years of life lessons and the knowledge and experiences that you have been exposed to in your lifetime. These lessons and experiences have molded you to become the person you are today.

So let’s talk about tomorrow. Have you accomplished goals in your life that you wanted to? I know I have achieved some but certainly not all and really don’t know if I ever will, but I will never give up the dreams and aspirations and definitely will never give up trying to reach those goals regardless of how far away they may seem right now.

I think back from time to time about hitting some of those goals and how that feeling of accomplishment made me feel. I felt elated, confident, happy and proud of all the hard work that was completed, and needed to succeed in what sometimes I thought were almost impossible to reach goals.

I had to be diligent, working sometimes two jobs to eventually pave the way to reach a certain plateau and ultimately the goal I set out to achieve. This is how I perceive most people live these days, working hard to buy a new car. Working harder to own their own home trying to save whatever they can for emergencies and a little for retirement. Working hard to achieve the goals they have set for themselves, living in their own time not really looking hard to tomorrow. Tomorrow always seems so far away. As I am now older, tomorrow doesn’t seem so far away anymore. It just sneaks up on you and Wham! Tomorrow is now today! What happened? Where did the time go?

As I sit here and ponder some of these thoughts, a light bulb lights up in my head and I say hey wait a minute, I’m still here and hopefully there will be many more tomorrows in my lifetime. More chances to still pursue my dreams and goals and to live the life I have always wanted to.

I have made my decision to not just retire, but to enjoy retirement by building a new career in Affiliate Marketing where I can work when I want to, enjoy the time in between with friends and family and look forward toward a new tomorrow full of travel, relaxation and the comfort of knowing I will have the funds to do all that I want to do.

So…… think about where you want to be tomorrow because it will be here before you know it. I know life gets hard and in the way sometimes but you owe it to yourself and your family to plan for tomorrow and the easiest and best way to do that is an online business that you can run from anywhere that has internet. 1. Things that happen to us in our past “could” define who we are today. This could be good or bad. But, really I don’t think we should let it define us. I believe it’s best to only concern ourselves with how we view ourselves, though.

I have been in affiliate marketing for 9+ years now. I know that you can succeed. But, it isn’t a walk in the park. It takes a lot of hard work and persistence. One thing that has helped me over the years is setting daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals.

What are you going to do to get where you want to be in life?

  2. Thank you for the comment Garen. I have been self employed for thirty plus years and recently retired. I believe you can succeed in affiliate marketing and a lot of other businesses if you believe in yourself and what you are doing. I myself am going to work diligently to learn as much as I can through Wealthy Affiliate and apply this knowledge to my new venture. I will also take any and all advise from people like yourself and apply that as well. I value the advice from people who have been there and made it work and will start setting goals for myself to help me along the way and to keep me focused on where I want to be in life.
